Mark R. Myers, M.D.
Dr. Myers attended the University of Southern California for his undergraduate training and continued at USC for his degree in medicine. He remained at USC to complete his internal medicine training before completing his cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He received a North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology traveling fellowship for training in pacemaker therapy with Dr. Victor Parsonnet at the Newark Beth-Israel Medical Center in New Jersey.
Dr. Myers is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He founded the Huntington Hospital Electrophysiology and Pacemaker program in 1988 and continues to be active in the electrophysiology department. Dr. Myers has served on the Advisory Board of the Heart Rhythm Society and Pacesetter Pacemaker Company. Dr. Myers has performed investigations on heart medications, pacemaker and pacemaker-defibrillator therapies. He currently is lead investigator in multiple clinical trials.
